December 11, 2011 – Dr. Alfonso Ortega, QuantaCool’s Science & Engineering Advisor, was featured in a Philadelphia Inquirer article about the problem of managing waste heat from data centers. (Click here for link to the article).

Dr. Ortega is Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Research in the College of Engineering at Villanova University. An article in the December 11, 2011 Philadelphia Inquirer, highlights the work being done by the Industry/University Cooperative Research Center in Energy Efficient Electronic Systems, now known as the Center for Energy-Smart Electronic Systems (ES2), a research consortium sponsored by the national Science Foundation, and jointly run by the State University of New York at Binghamton, Villanova University, and the University of Texas at Arlington.
